1. Who we are

2. Using this store

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. You must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information and must not misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation.

3. Product information

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Product images, lifestyle images, colours, flame effects and room settings are illustrative. Appearance can vary with lighting, screen settings, installation and product settings. Dimensions, specifications and availability may change; the product information shown when you order forms part of your purchase.

You are responsible for checking dimensions, recess depth, opening size, wall suitability, electrical requirements, clearances and installation instructions before installation. Each product has its own requirements. Any electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified person where required.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. The total price, delivery charge and any other charge are shown before you submit the order. Payment must be authorised using a payment method offered at checkout.

5. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not by itself mean that we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund any payment received. We may decline an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailable stock, an obvious pricing or description error, failed payment authorisation or a delivery restriction.

6. Delivery

Available delivery options, charges and estimates are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. You must provide safe and reasonable access and check packages promptly on delivery. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate, subject to applicable consumer law.

For delivery outside Ireland, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may apply and are the customer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise before purchase.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your cancellation, return and refund rights are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory statutory rights.

8. Faulty goods and warranties

Goods must conform to the contract and applicable consumer law. If you believe goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or supplied incorrectly, contact hello@lumofires.com with your order number and supporting information. Any manufacturer or commercial warranty is additional to, and does not replace, your statutory rights. Warranty duration, where applicable, must be confirmed by the relevant product or purchase documentation.

9. Installation and use

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety requirements. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alteration, unsuitable installation or failure to follow instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

11. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes and severability

The terms that apply are those in force when your order is placed. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you also retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence and may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable law.
